What is the Company?
The Company is a community of Christian writers on a mission to change the world.
We provide training, resources, and support for writers, so that you can reach big goals with your work. But it doesn’t stop there, The Company brings us together to accomplish big things together. We are on a mission together to change the American media, and to change “Christian” media while we’re at it.
What is a company? It’s a group of people working together towards a common goal.
The Company is a group of Kingdom-minded writers, publishers, and creative professionals bonded together to fundamentally change the media landscape in America. This is where you gain the skills, confidence, and support you’ve been searching for, so that you can reach your goals as a writer.
In the military, a company is a tactically complete unit. It has all of the skills, resources, and tools to complete the mission independently of the battalion.
The Company is a tactically complete unit for Christian writers—professionals and aspiring professionals. It’s an incubator, an accelerator, and a support community. We provide tools, resources, training, and essential services for writers who are serious about reaching big audiences with their work and changing the world.
This group is not just for your typical Christian writers. We welcome writers who want to push the envelope of what Christian writing ought to be. We welcome writers who want to infiltrate and subvert the secular book market with Kingdom values.
The name “The Company” also reflects our value to help Christian writers thrive in the marketplace. Our community isn’t here solely for encouragement and a lot of artsy-fartsy feel-goodery. If you’re going to make it as a writer, you need the business skills to pay your bills. All of our training programs place a high emphasize on skills for commercial success.
It’s not just about the money either, success in the open marketplace is how we reach readers so that we can change their hearts and minds.
We’re training writers to create content that is better than their secular counterparts. This isn’t about creating an arbitrary moralistic boundary for “clean” work, rather it’s about displacing the worldly stuff on the market today with Holy Spirit-inspired stories that are vessels for Gospel values.
When we work together, we can change the world.
You don’t have to be a professional yet. You don’t even have to be any good at this. But this is a community for people who are serious about making market impact with their work.
If that’s you, if you’re ready to be a Holy Spirit operative in the media marketplace…welcome to The Company.

Our Statement of Faith
Our leaders each have a unique spiritual background. Our statement of faith represents our “non-negotiables,” our common base of Christian faith. Any writer who can affirm the following statements will feel at home in our organization.
- We believe that faith in Jesus is the only path to salvation.
- We believe in the Trinity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as one.
- We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God, immutable and irrevocable, as true today as the day it was written.
- We believe that the Holy Spirit is alive, well, and active in the modern age.
- We believe that Christians are called to proclaim the good news of Jesus, to heal the sick, cast out demons, and to advance the Kingdom of God.
Beyond these core beliefs, as an organization we strive to be theologically inclusive. We meet writers where they are, with their unique backgrounds, experiences, and understandings, and encourage them to test and refine their specific theologies through application of the Bible, prayer, and experience.

The History of The Company
In 2018, Brad and Melissa Pauquette founded the School of Kingdom Writers as a 2-year vocational training program for Christian writers. That program grew and developed, expanding to include the Arche Year program and the Kingdom Writers Guild.
In 2022, the decision was made to restructure the organization. All of the necessary assets were purchased from the former organization, and The Company was launched on February 1, 2023.
The Company carries on the mission of the School of Kingdom Writers, but has updated the organizational and legal structure to best position this mission for long term success. We’re supporting Christian writers in more ways than ever before.
