Apprenticeship Application Deadline

If you’re interested in joining us as a writing apprentice in the fall of 2026, please apply by May 15.

It takes time to process your application, and it takes time to get you connected with housing and other logistics to move to Cambridge, Ohio. Applying by May 15 gives us plenty of time to do everything that needs to be done with minimal stress, for you and for us.

If you’re interested in this fall’s apprenticeship, I encourage you to apply as soon as possible. As long as you have some kind of writing sample available (like a short story, novel chapter, or essay you’ve written), the application will probably take about an hour.

Apply here: https://writers.company/training/full-time-apprenticeship/apply/ (Make sure you read and follow the instructions on the page.)

We do fill seats in the apprenticeship as applications are received. If you’re interested, don’t wait to apply. There’s always a chance that the program could fill even earlier than the May 15 deadline.
