Spring Writing Retreat

Spring is a wonderful time of year to visit our quaint campus in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains. Writers of all ages and experience levels are welcome to share our space for the weekend and enjoy the vibrant community of The Company.

On Friday, you’ll enjoy morning worship with the apprentices at The Company HQ. You’ll have some time to get some work done in one of our Victorian offices. In the afternoon, you’ll learn about “The Writing Ecosystem” from Brad Pauquette.

In this crazy informative lesson, Brad will teach you all the ways writers make money. Making a full-time living only writing books is quite challenging. But when you see all of the opportunities available to writers, you may be surprised how easy it is to become a professional writer.

Dinner will be provided Friday evening. This will be your opportunity to hang out with Brad and Melissa and some of the other members of our team in a casual setting.

On Saturday morning, we’ll reconvene and talk specifically about The Company’s full-time apprenticeship and other programs. This is a great time to have all of your questions about The Company answered.

We’ll finish before lunch on Saturday. You’re free to leave at that point, or you can spend the remainder of the day exploring our scenic area.
