This question is mostly for popular opinion.
Everytime i sit down to write my novel, I think, Is this good? Is it a story, a plot that people would want to read? And honestly? There isn’t a good way to know that. So thats why i’m asking this. Is this a good plot I should continue? Should i change anything? My book is titled A Funeral Planner’s Guide To Living, and it follows a middle-aged man living in debt in a rural town. He hasn’t gotten buisness for almost a year, because for some reason nobody in the town has died. He can’t leave the town, since that goes against his late fathers will, and he will slowly die of starvation if he can’t buy food.
And so, after meeting with the town Excorcist, he finds that the town is under a curse. A curse of immortality. So he and the Excorsist venture into the Slihy, a labyrinth of monstors, puzzles, and dimensions. And he must destroy the immortality spell so buisness can return.
What do you think?

“Is it good?” is a hard question. We can mean so many different things. Is it good art? Is it fun to read? Will it do well in the marketplace? Will it impress my [insert family relation]?
I think the plot is intriguing, and sounds like a lot of fun. It’s hard to say based on what we have here in what ways it’s “good,” but it sounds to me like a project worth pursuing.
