I have an old wattpad account that I was going to delete, but I was wondering if it would be useful when I would start trying to market my platform.

I haven’t used Wattpad very much (and when I did, it was way back in 2011), so I don’t know if my answer will be 100% helpful. But I can’t see how a Wattpad account would be very beneficial to marketing when you start a platform.
From my memory, the site’s function isn’t conducive to sharing and posting things, like social media nowadays. It’s, from my memory, difficult to get anything widely seen and shared if you don’t also have an IG account linking back to your story. But again, I really haven’t used the site in a long, long time, so its functions definitely could have changed since then!
