Happy Writing!
Hidden in the pine
Eyes scan for the next best branch
Curious Kitten
Rustle in the boughs
The shiny ornaments clink
Green eyes in green limbs
Swaying and swinging
Disaster in the making
Tabby in the tree.
A flick of the switch
Revealed Aunt Bethany’s cat’s
Carpet silhouette.
Eyes wide, limbs tangled
The body and pine entwined
Manic wonderment.
A glimmering sight
A fluffy ball snuggled tightly
Seconds before disaster
Shiny tree- tempting
Sneaky Tiger leapt so high
6 hours he was stuck.
Curled and glowing bright
Feline in the sparkling light
Fur-lined branch bowing low
