The Company’s Novel Challenge begins June 10. For 90 days, Brad Pauquette and the team from The Company will guide you through the novel writing process.
Finally, you’ll have the support you’ve been craving. Each week, The Company’s team will provide practical how-to, encouragement, and a little bit of wisdom to stay motivated and on target. There’s no cost for any of this content. Plus, you’ll be part of a community of writers tracking hard after the same goal.
Could you write for one hour per day this summer? Using our plan, with just one hour per day you will complete a novel draft this summer!
The Company’s Novel Challenge is completely free. There are options for additional paid support below, but just by signing up you’ll receive all of the weekly content to stay on track.

Anyone is welcome to take advantage of our completely free novel challenge platform. If you love Jesus and you’re ready to get serious about writing your novel this summer, you’re invited to join a Novel Cohort.
Cohorts cost $99, for the full 13-week program!
These Cohorts will meet via Zoom once per week. Each Cohort is led by a knowledgeable member of The Company’s team. You’ll receive one-on-one support and the group will help you to meet your goals.
As a member of a Cohort, each week you’ll meet with the same group of writers at the same time. This group will encourage and motivate each other to stay on target and finish those projects! In our experience, this kind of accountability is often the difference-maker for aspiring novelists. Cohort meetings will last 30-60 minutes, and there will be several throughout the week to choose from, including daytime, evening, and weekend options.
Cohort members will also be invited to special live sessions with Brad Pauquette, and also receive free access to all of The Company’s online classes.
We’re offering separate Cohorts for adults and teens. Writers aged 14 through 20 are invited to join a teen Cohort with Christian writers from around the country of their own age.

Is it really free?
Yes! The Company’s Novel Challenge is complete free. As an organization, The Company is here to help Christian writers reach their goals. We’re offering this because we want you to succeed and to tell the stories God has placed on your heart!
When you sign up for the challenge, you’ll get 13 weeks of encouragement, practical advice, and motivation—all completely free.
If you’d like individualized support (which helps a ton!), joining a Novel Cohort costs $99 for the entire 13-week session. The Cohort provides additional guidance and accountability. We’ve found that writers who have this type of small group support are far more likely to finish their projects. Is reaching your goal this summer worth $99? We think so.
Do I have to be a Christian to join the challenge?
The Company is a Christian organization. You should expect to see Christian values represented in our content. However, you do not have to be a Christian to join our novel challenge, in fact, we’d love for you to take advantage of it.
In order to join a Novel Cohort, you do need to have accepted Jesus as your personal savior and agree to our statement of faith.
What if I can’t do every day? Or if I can’t write for a whole hour? Or…?
This is a program for adults, for your own benefit. We’re going to provide 90 days of content, you can really use it however you want. You’re welcome to work at your own pace. There’s no test and no judgment. Our goal is just to see you move towards your goals.
What do I get if a I join a Cohort?
As a member of a Novel Cohort, you’ll receive:
- Weekly small group support meetings led by a member of The Company’s team. (Maximum of 15 writers per group.)
- 90-day access to The Company’s courses and member resources.
- Invitation to private support sessions with Brad Pauquette.
The cost of the Cohort is $99. All meetings are held over Zoom.
When will the Cohort groups meet? How long will the meetings be?
The Cohort groups will meet once a week. We’ll have several meetings throughout the week, so you can choose one that best suits your schedule. Depending on demand, we’ll have options during the day, evenings, and weekends.
Most meetings will probably last approximately 30-40 minutes.
Who leads the Cohorts?
The Company’s team consists of graduates of our training programs and current full-time apprentices. All of our Cohort leaders have been extensively trained in the methods that we’ll use to guide you on your novel-writing journey.
