Ready to grow your writing skills? Let’s do it together!
Join us for the Winter Writing Challenge.
Starting December 1st, we’re going to send you a daily writing prompt each day for twelve days. Maybe you’ll have to write a wintery-themed poem! Or draft a short description of an angry elf. Whatever the prompt, you’ll have one day to write a short poem or vignette!
If you win the challenge and write something for all twelve days, we’re going to email you a laptop sticker to celebrate! The best part? It’s all completely free!
But wait! There’s more:
BONUS 1: It’s time to join together. The more people who participate, the more opportunities you’ll have to unlock even greater group prizes. Discounts to The Company Store, Premium Memberships—we’ve got prizes galore!
BONUS 2: You’ll also get exclusive access to new writing lessons from Brad Pauquette, bestselling author of The Novel Matrix, and Alli Prince, bestselling author of Call It Consequences. By the end of these twelve days, your writing muscles will be flexed and ready for your next project!
BONUS 3: The editorial team at The Pearl has promised to keep an eye on the challenge for rising talent to publish in their magazine.
Complete all twelve days of the challenge, and you’ll get a free laptop sticker!

Write with your friends
The Winter Writing Challenge is all about writing with a community. It’s about tackling the prompt in your own unique way, then supporting each other and encouraging one another to keep writing.
We’ll open up a special section on The Company’s Forum where you can post your poems or vignettes. That way we can all read and comment on each other’s work. You can also post what you’ve written to social media (check your email for additional instructions).
Everyone will work together to unlock better and better prizes. The more people that participate in the challenge, the more opportunity to unlock these prizes!
