Ready for summer?

We are now accepting submissions for our next anthology project: Fantastical Summer.

We’re looking for your best summer-themed magical realism. Tell us a fun summer story set in the modern world but with just one element that’s been tweaked to fantasy.

Fantastical Summer will be released in May of 2025, featuring the work of writers just like you! This project has been developed by Vella Karman, a second-year apprentice at The Company, and will be produced in partnership with The Company and The Pearl.

It’s free to submit your work, and authors who are selected for publication will be paid. But the deadline is January 30th, so don’t wait to start writing and submit!

Learn more at FantasticalSummer.com, where you’ll find word count requirements, more information about the theme, and other parameters you’ll want to know prior to submitting.

After you’ve read the submission requirements and perfected your story, you can submit right here on The Company’s website here. You will need an account to submit, but you can create one for free here.

One year ago, we released Lawless, an anthology of short stories inspired by the biblical book of Judges, led by Alli Prince.

Lawless An Anthology of Short Stories Inspired by the Biblical Book of Judges

Grab a copy of Lawless on Amazon here.

Fantastical Summer will be released with the same production quality and commitment to excellence. While Lawless brought the grit and realism of Judges to life, Fantastical Summer will develop a fun, imaginative summer read.
