Are you ready for a brand new writing challenge?

Starting April 21, we’re going to send you a weekly writing prompt for six weeks. With each prompt, you’ll have one week to write a 1,000-word short story. If you write all six stories to win the challenge, we’ll send you a free laptop sticker to celebrate!

Spring Writing Challenge Champion Sticker

Complete all six challenges, and this awesome sticker is yours!

Look at his little smile—he’s proud of you already.

But wait! There’s more:
We want to make it even more fun!

BONUS 1: When you join, we’ll randomly assign you to one of two teams. We have some fun surprises (and prizes!) for how the teams will compete. The teams will have the opportunity to meet once per week over Zoom! While you are not required to attend, this is a great, safe way to make new writing friends while we encourage and inspire each other through the challenge.

BONUS 2: You’ll also get exclusive access to weekly writing lessons from Brad Pauquette, bestselling author of The Novel Matrix. By the end of these six weeks, your writing muscles will be flexed and ready for your next project!

BONUS 3: The editorial team at The Pearl (you know, the home of Curiously Good Kingdom Literature) has promised to keep an eye on the challenge for rising talent to publish in their magazine.

The Spring Writing Challenge begins April 21st and goes until the last day of May! Get ready to make some friends, start a great writing routine, and step into the summer ready to tackle your writing projects!
