Are you done piddling around with your writing? Is your routine inconsistent? Do you feel like you’re wandering? Is it time for a change?

As a wise person once said, insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Let’s do it differently.

Arche Year starts in October. If you’re ready to make real progress with your writing, and you want to do it with other Spirit-filled believers, Arche Year may be the perfect next step for you.

Over ten months, you will write a complete novel manuscript. You will also launch a website for your writing, start a newsletter, and a professional social media presence. Over the course of the year, you’re going to learn about the publishing industry, about the taxes authors pay, and about copyright.

You don’t even need to have an idea for your novel yet. This course will literally take you from start to finish. (If you DO have an idea, that’s great, and you’re welcome to use it.)

You can learn all about Arche Year at this link, but here are the answers to some of our most common questions.

What do I do each week?

Each week, you’ll watch a pre-recorded video at the time of your choosing. The video lessons are between 45-90 minutes.

You’ll also spend time on your own writing your manuscript and completing other tasks. You can set your own schedule and fit this in however you like. All together, you’ll do about 7 hours of independent work per week.

There is no busy-work. Everything you do will have a direct application to your writing and platform.

You’ll meet with your Cohort for about an hour, once per week. The meeting time will be the same every week. We offer a variety of Cohorts so you can pick one that fits your schedule. This year, we have Cohorts at the following times:

  • Mondays at 8pm ET
  • Tuesdays at 11am ET
  • Thursdays at 8pm ET
  • Fridays at 2pm ET
  • Saturdays at 1pm ET

What are the meetings like?

You’ll meet with the same people every week. Most groups have 4-10 people in them. You’ll really get to know each other and care for the other people in your group. These are fun groups with other aspiring writers who are as excited about their new writing projects as you are.

The Cohort are each led by a published author who has graduated from one of The Company’s programs.

In the meeting, you’ll talk through the video lesson and the facilitator will answer your questions. Your facilitator can also give individual advice to help you troubleshoot and apply the lesson to your unique situation.

You’ll also check with the other members of the group to hold each other accountable to the goals you’ve set and the time commitment, to ensure that you each make the progress you deserve. The facilitator and the group are there to support and encourage you, and to help you find solutions when it’s difficult to make all of the pieces fit.

About every six weeks, Brad Pauquette personally visits each Cohort to encourage you and answer all of the really tough questions.
