What if you could unlock “write what you know” to tell raw, authentic stories grounded in truth?
Join us at Christian Writer Con ’26 for ten speakers over to two days to fire up your writing.
On Saturday at 2 pm ET, Thirzah will present “Bleed on the Page: How to Ground Your Fiction in Real Life Without Making It All About You.”
Even if you write sci-fi or fantasy, your readers can tell if you know what you’re talking about.
When you present truth, they can sense whether you believe it or not.
If you haven’t experienced the transformation for yourself, they’ll feel preached at. If you write from an unhealed wound, they’ll feel like they’re listening into your therapy session.
Whether you’ve traveled the globe or have never left your hometown, learn how you can tell raw, impactful stories grounded in truth.
Not preachy. Not a thinly-veiled gripe-fest about your friends and family. But raw, honest truth that will resonate with readers.
Join Thirzah as she discusses one of the greatest tools that you have access to as a writer: personal experience. Knock down the cobwebs of preachy writing and sift through your own experiences for a goldmine of truth that will bring new depth to your stories.
